ok... I didn't ticket for Neo Romance Live Summer 2008 even though I was a Gamecity member
I'm pretty sad about this... all I can say is I really have bad luck with drawing...
or someone is telling me not to go to seiyuu event this year (LOL)
anyway, I will try for regular sale but I probably won't get it -_-
if I can't get any tickets I will just give up on going... (hoping STA☆MEN have some event this summer...)
ok I really need to get ready to go to my friend's house... I'm eating lunch and shopping afterwards with her today
I should cheer up a little >_< gosh, I'm so tired of getting tickets...

by the way, I'm really pissed that people are already selling Neo Romance Live Summer 2008 ticket on Yahoo! Japan auction...
it's like WTF -_-

Sharing: "Train" from Bus Gamer and Seiyuu Graffiti songs [May. 12th, 2008|01:13 pm]

seiyuu

[beldarius]
[music |Souichiro Hoshi - Shining Tears]

I hope you don't mind me re-sharing some of the Seiyuu Graffiti songs, Nanami_hijiri. >___>;;

Bus Gamer - Train (Nobuto Nakajo/Junichi Suwabe version)
Bus Gamer - Train (Kazuo Saito/Hiroki Takahashi version)
Bus Gamer - Train (Toki Mishiba/Kenichi Suzumura version) (SuzuKen sings the best out of these three... and Toki is my favorite character, too. <3)

Kazuki Yao - Eifersucht (this is worth downloading. It's terribly funny. XD)
Kouichi Yamadera - Waga Sokoku (I have no idea if the song title really looks like that. A kanji-romaji translator just spat that one out when I tried to translate it...)
Nozomu Sasaki - Kimi o Mamoritai
Ryo Horikawa - Shounen (Kaze no Goro)
Takeshi Kusao - Knight of Lodoss ~Kaze no Uta~
Tomohiro Nishimura - Nin ~Shinobi~
Tomomichi Nishimura - You are My Love
Toshiyuki Morikawa & Ryotaro Okiayu - YOUNG SOUL REBEL (from Please Save My Earth)

Requesting
All OP, ED and character themes from all Lamune series. At least those ones sung by Takeshi Kusao (Lamune), Chisa Yokoyama (was it Milk?) and Kazuki Yao (Da Cider). Thank you. In case you need to know what songs I'm talking about, here's one at Youtube.

By the way, I just found out that Takeshi Kusao, Akira Kamiya and Ryusei Nakao will be appearing at Animazement this year. ...I hope someone tapes the event and posts it on Youtube. 8D (Because I can't be there due to me living in Finland. D: Damn, I wish I had the possibility to ask for Kusao's autograph. U___U)

EDIT: OMG THAT WAS CRAZY!!!!! *dies*
I have really bad headache now... -_-
I was able to send the form but I don't know if I got it yet...
only thing I should have done was to write a message before hand...
I was thinking about doing it but didn't do it at the end >_< (because I didn't know they would have a message section on the form)
I really should have done this so they would know I'm coming all the way from America
by the way, the ticket was gone in about 5 minutes I think...
now all I can do is pray... I really need luck this time

Advisory Board Nominations Open [May. 5th, 2008|10:56 am]

news

[mood | chipper]

Advisory Board Nominations Begin

This morning we are opening the nomination process for the user-representative positions on the LiveJournal Advisory Board. A full description of the process can be found here.

To get you started, here are the basic things you should know:

- You may only nominate yourself
- Each nominee will need 100 motions of support in order to be eligible to be a candidate
- We ask that you keep your comments on the nomination posts to "I support this nomination" or something to that effect; be kind to those who will need to count the "supports", please.
- Although the nominations and election poll will take place in [info]lj_election_en, you do not need to watch the community in order to keep up with the election; we'll announce everything here as well.

Everyone here at LiveJournal is looking forward to this first-ever User-Representative election! We'd like to thank everyone who is participating. Some words from our current Advisory Board members:

danah boyd: “LiveJournal is filled with very passionate users. These users have helped shaped LJ's various communities over the last decade and it gives me great joy that LJ is recognizing and incorporating users' voices into the decision-making processes. Having user representatives from different parts of LJ on the Advisory Board will help make sure that the company is meeting the needs of its diverse constituents.”

Esther Dyson: "I'm sure we'll learn a lot from the process, and later on from the two users selected as well. Especially, I hope that the discussions before the voting will be more meaningful and more focused on policy than those in some offline campaigns."

Brad Fitzpatrick: "It's cool that SUP is getting users involved with the LiveJournal decision-making process. I look forward to seeing who the community elects and the results of our efforts working together."

Professor Lawrence Lessig: “The user elections will provide a critical check on LJ's process of maintaining a valuable and trustworthy environment for the LJ community. The mandate of the elections will give the user representatives pride of place among the members of the Advisory Board. Each of us will look to them to guide us in our judgment about how best to make LJ the community we all aspire that it will be. I look forward to welcoming the user representatives, and learning a great deal from them.”

[info]chasethestars has also made some banners for you to use, if you'd like to show your support for the candidate of your choice!

My first. [May. 3rd, 2008|10:34 pm]

[cubanseapower]
I'm trying to write a story and this is my first.
The genre is science fiction and thriller.
Please give me any feedback; all I need is people's opinion on it.
Thank you! :)
P.S. - This is just part one of my first chapter. If I get a lot of positive comments or if a lot of people like it, I might think about posting the second part.

Kiuchi Hidenobu @ Fanime, Update [May. 2nd, 2008|08:26 pm]

seiyuu

[summer_queen]
Okay, as of today, this is the full schedule for Kiuchi as I know it. Standard caveat applies that you should always check the schedule at the con for exact place and time.

FRIDAY -- May 23rd

Opening Ceremony: 3-4PM @ Stage Zero

Wii Challenge: 5-7PM @ Stage Zero

Kiuchi will play a couple of games against one or more of the other guests.

Saturday -- May 24th

Guest Meet and Greet: 11-1PM

General Autograph Session: 2-3PM

Q&A Session: 5-6PM (moderated by yours truly!)

What's it like voicing roles as diverse as Prince of Tennis' Oshitari, Monster's Tenma and Saiunkoku's Ran Ryuuren? How did the Meganes come about? Where does he get his inspiration for roles such as Oshitari? To get the inside scoop on Kiuchi-san's voice acting career, drop by and ask him yourself!

Sunday -- May 25th

Fan Appreciation Panel: 11-1PM (also moderated by me)

A unique opportunity for Kiuchi-san's fans to interact with him in a casual setting and show their appreciation for his voice and talent. Cosplay as his characters, or from the series he's been in, is highly encouraged! Various entertaining, interactive activities are planned.

Karaoke with Oshitari!: 3-4PM

Fanime is providing attendees a once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing with a professional seiyuu (voice actor). All singers -- whether you can hit the high notes in Phantom of the Opera, or only sing in the shower -- are invited to join GoH Kiuchi Hidenobu in our karaoke room for some rousing group renditions of Prince of Tennis songs. (Don't worry if you don't know the words, we'll provide lyric sheets.) The more, the merrier!

I'm hoping some of you will come by -- especially to the Fan Appreciation panel and karaoke! Kiuchi-san is still somewhat bemused that seiyuu fans exist outside of Japan, and I'd love for him to get an enthusiastic welcome (and show him American fans *love* their seiyuu!)
